A little over two years ago, I had my son. I was over the moon in love with him! At the same time, I was at my breaking point because my then 5-month- old son was waking up every 2 to 3 hours. Naps were only happening comfortably if I was holding him. The very moment I tried to transfer him to his crib, he will wake up. I was afraid to sneeze! I could hardly function on so little sleep, and it was heart breaking to see my baby so unsettled and overtired. After months of researching numerous websites, blogs and books, I decided to hire a sleep consultant who changed our lives with her guidance and support! Finally, my baby was taking long restorative naps and his night sleep was consolidated. It was then when I fell in love with this profession and realized I too wanted to give families the best gift a family could have… SLEEP!
I became certified as an Infant and Child Sleep Consultant through the Family Sleep Institute where I learned methods and specific techniques that work with the biology of a baby’s body to help achieve the healthiest and most restorative sleep. Additionally, I have training in Lactation Management, SIDS prevention and I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator for several years.
